Bottom Rod

Café Blinds Australia use a 50mm galvanized rod in our blinds. It stops the blind “sagging” when rolled up and provides weighted support against wind. The 50mm rod also reduces the wrinkle effect in blinds.
(see lightweight competitors blind in bottom LH photo)

End caps and tie downs are used in the bottom rod to reduce movement of the blind in windy conditions. An open ended bottom pocket allows air to flow freely through the pocket preventing mould developing. Moisture trapped within the pocket will quickly turn mouldy.

Zips & Reinforcing

Café Blinds Australia use a spiral zip which is marine grade, high quality and low maintenance.

We include bolt rail reinforcing throughout the surrounds of the blind for added strength and durability.

Bolt rail reinforcing is imported from Germany and used extensively in the Sail Mast Manufacturing industry, we use it in our blinds.

This is why we are confident in providing an extensive warranty with your blinds.

Stitching & Gluing

At Café Blinds, we have developed an elegant blind through the use of gluing and stitching our seams for added strength and durability in all conditions.

Our continued focus on quality and style has enabled us to develop our unique double stitching and gluing for the ultimate blind.

Shrinkage

The major issue that the PVC Blind Industry is faced with is shrinkage. From experience Café Blinds Australia allow for and work with shrinkage. We have strong relationships with manufacturers of PVC who stand by their stated shrinkage rates. This means that we can confidently allow for shrinkage to produce for you the best possible blind.

We work with reputable and trustworthy suppliers of PVC to ensure that you have the very best quality PVC used in your blinds.
